Newly single Alex Zane hit the road for a lonely dog walk after separating from wife Nettie Wakefield on Saturday.
The TV presenter, 43, looked downcast as he wore a black knit beanie and short trench coat to keep out the winter chill.
Alex stepped out with his pet Whippet and strolled around North London after announcing his divorce from Nettie, 35, just five months into their marriage.

He tucked a zip-up hoodie under his jacket and pulled on a pair of rolled-up skinny jeans.
Alex completed his outfit with a pair of brown Dr. Marten’s and carried his essentials in a canvas tote bag.
His pet, Simon, was dressed in a cute fleece-lined navy coat for their chilly walk.

Richard Eden of The Daily Mail revealed that Alex and Nettie had split on Thursday, barely five months after their London wedding.
“We decided to part ways at the end of last year,” confirmed Alex on Instagram, who proposed to Nettie, 35, in 2018 after a “whirlwind year-long romance.”
In the post, Alex explained, “We leave each other in the best way possible for two people who shared incredible experiences, full of love and laughter and as many happy memories as two people can make during that time.”

“We remain best friends despite the decision to go our separate ways. Our friends and family have been very supportive during this time and we appreciate all the help we have received.”
The Yorkshireman added: ‘Obviously it’s never easy to leave a relationship but we move forward knowing we can rely on the other.
“It’s as amicable divorce as it gets, and of course we’ll continue to co-parent our whippet, Simon.”

Nettie, who previously dated Poldark heartthrob Aidan Turner and was linked to Twilight star Robert Pattinson, is comforted by male model Owen McGinnity, who was pictured with his arm around her at a party two months after their wedding.
She had exchanged vows with Zane during the pandemic, but they were forced to limit their number of wedding guests due to Covid restrictions, as was the big party last August.
Zane previously said the celebration, held in July, was the wedding they “always planned” but couldn’t due to restrictions during the pandemic.

The TV star’s brother officiated at the ceremony, with the wedding party enjoying a carrot and maple cake and a speech from his mother.
After proposing to Nettie, a source said, “Alex has been knocked for six since he met Nettie.
“He’s totally in love and soon realized he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her.”
Alex was previously romantically linked to a range of stars including Emma Willis, Sarah Harding, Pixie Geldof and Sadie Frost.

The presenter was linked to Pixie in 2008, with the Mail reporting him “kissing” the model during an NME appearance.
Alex was also linked to actress Sadie in 2006, but her reps shut down reports that they were just friends, and the DJ dated Emma in 2004.
Meanwhile, Aidan van Nettie and Poldark split in 2017 after six months of dating with reports claiming they were “driven apart by conflicting work schedules.”
A source said at the time: ‘It was going great for a while and they got serious – but it just wasn’t to be and busy schedules drove them apart.
“They have drifted and things have cooled down, but there are no hard feelings. Aidan is incredibly busy with his career and Nettie’s art is really taking off, so they had a lot on their plate.’
