Olivia Wilde stunned in deep white cut-out dress when leaving The Late Show… after confirmation Harry Styles did NOT spit on Chris Pine

After donning a rather casual look to appear on UKTN’ The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Olivia Wilde left the show in an elegant white dress.

The 38-year-old actress and filmmaker (born Olivia Jane Cockburn) was spotted leaving the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City on Wednesday night after filming The Late Show.

Her departure comes after she confirmed that her boyfriend and Don’t Worry Darling co-star Harry Styles was not spitting on Chris Pine, while also discussing Shia LaBeouf’s departure.

Wilde stepped out in a flowing white spaghetti strap dress with a plunging neckline.

She also wore black Ray-Ban sunglasses and some gold necklaces with embedded diamonds.

The actress and filmmaker wore gold earrings and bracelets while completing her look with black platform boots.

She talked about the “weird rumours” circulating around the production when she mentioned “spitgate,” a joke, “which you may have heard of.”

Colbert referred to his notes, which included the question, ‘Did Harry Styles spit on Chris Pine? Why or why not? Support your answer.’

She finally added, “Harry didn’t actually spit on Chris,” while Colbert joked, “Time will tell.”

“No, he really didn’t!” said Wilde, laughing.

She also cleared the air about her one-time Don’t Worry Darling co-star Shia LaBeouf, who she says was left out of the film, although the actor claims he quit.

When asked if she fired any Shias, Wilde said, “We had to replace Shias. He’s a fantastic actor, but it wouldn’t work. When he gave me the ultimatum of, you know, him or Florence, I chose Florence.’

She added: “He felt he was giving up and I felt we were moving on without him.”

When Colbert asked if he left in such a way that he could think he was quitting and she could think he’d been fired and that they were both right, Wilde said, “It’s a matter of semantics. It wouldn’t progress in the way he wanted, so he had to leave.’
