Celebrities arrived with some Father’s Day content this weekend, and Priyanka Chopra blessed everyone with a new photo of Nick Jonas and their baby girl Malti. Please come prepared because they’re wearing matching dad-daughter sneakers and it’s just adorable.
Nick and Priyanka broke the news of Malti’s arrival on January 21, posting joint statements on Instagram that read, “We are delighted to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully request privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thanks a lot.”
The couple remained extremely private about their new life as parents until Mother’s Day, when they dropped a family photo and revealed that Malti had been in NICU for over 100 days and had just go home.
“After over 100 days in the NICU, our baby girl is finally home,” they wrote in a joint post. Each family’s journey is unique and requires a certain level of faith, and while ours has been a difficult few months, what becomes very clear in retrospect is how precious and perfect every moment is. We are thrilled that our baby girl is finally home and we just want to thank all of the doctors, nurses and specialists at Rady Children’s La Jolla and Cedar Sinai, Los Angeles who have been there selflessly every step of the way. Our next chapter begins now, and our baby is truly a badass. Let’s go MM! Mom and Dad love you.”
Since then, Priyanka and Nick have only shared one more photo of Malti (well, the back of her head – they naturally want to protect her privacy) snuggling up to Priyanka and her mother:
