Rohit Sharma is gearing up for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) season as he plans to become the first franchise tournament captain to win three straight titles. Besides a huge Mumbai Indian fan base, Rohit also has his family to cheer him up in a life of stimulating bio bubble. The Mumbai Indians took to social media on Wednesday to share an adorable video of Rohit’s daughter Samaira mimicking her father’s shot and cheering on the reigning IPL champions.

In the video, Samaira can be seen wearing a helmet and then playing a mini shootout when Ritika (Rohit’s wife) asks her how her father hits a six.

The Mumbai Indians will begin their title defense against April 9 in Chennai.

Rohit joined the Mumbai Indians squad on Monday after India defeated England in the One-Day International series.

Rohit didn’t have a big score under his belt in the ODI but helped India get off to a good start when seeing the new ball.

While Rohit failed to score big in the limited overs format, he was India’s top scorer in the Test series against England.
