Snapchat is reportedly testing its paid subscription called Snapchat+ internally, as confirmed by Snap spokeswoman Liz Markman. Snapchat’s paid subscription is supposed to provide users with early access to features as well as other capabilities advertised on the app. As mentioned earlier, the one-month Snapchat+ subscription is expected to cost EUR 4.59 (around Rs. 370), while users can purchase a six-month plan at EUR 24.99 (around Rs. 2,000). The one-year subscription plan is said to be priced at EUR 45.99 (around Rs 3,700).

Social network Snapchat is working internally on its paid subscription service, Snap spokeswoman Liz Markman said in a statement to The Verge. In a statement to the website, Markman said the company is currently busy conducting initial internal testing of Snapchat+. “We’re excited about the opportunity to share exclusive, experimental, and pre-release features with our subscribers, and learn more about how best to serve our community,” he added.

As previously reported, app researcher Alessandro Paluzzi shared the expected subscription costs for Snapchat+ on Twitter. As the tweet states, the one-month subscription to Snapchat+ would cost 4.59 EUR (around Rs 370), while the subscription costs 24.99 EUR. Moreover, the paid service for one year will cost users EUR 45.99 (about Rs. 3,750). Additionally, the company might offer a one-week free trial to users to encourage paid subscriptions. The payment will apparently be linked to the user’s Play Store account and the service will automatically renew after a selected interval until the user cancels it.

Snapchat+ is also supposed to give users personalized Snapchat icons and a special badge. Users would be allowed to pin a conversation with a friend.
