LOS ANGELES (UKTN) – Rapper DMX manager Steve Rifkind took to social media Thursday night to say the 50-year-old songwriter and actor was alive and on life support.
“Please stop publishing these rumors,” Rifkind said in the video posted to Instagram. “DMX is still alive. Yes, he’s on life support.

The rapper, real name Earl Simmons, was admitted to White Plains Hospital last Friday after suffering a heart attack at his New York home.
His family said in a statement on Sunday that he “was facing serious health issues” and called on everyone to “keep Earl / DMX and us in your thoughts, wishes and prayers, as well as to respect our privacy in the face of these challenges ”.
Simmons would be in a coma on Wednesday and set for brain function tests, according to a New York Times report.
Rifkind, who said he had been with the musician and actor for three years.
“The only thing I ask is to stop the rumors,” Rifkind pleaded in the short video. “He’s still alive and he’s on life support.”

Rifkind said the family are expected to make a public statement on the rapper’s state of health on Friday.
