The UKTN (ITTF), with World Table Tennis (WTT) as the trading and event company, strengthened its position in the Top 10 Most Engaging Sports Profiles, According to Figures Released by Independent Social Media Marketing , Redtorch.
The #SportOnSocial League Table 2021 reviews the social media performance of the International Olympic Federations (IFs) throughout a 2020 hit by COVID Data was captured during the pandemic that has had many people around the world entire on social media due to the global lockdown.
Parameters including total number of fans, absolute growth, growth rate, engagement rate, total engagements, engagements per post, total number of views and views per video were analyzed and used to rank all Olympic IFs based on their performance on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube.
Ranked seventh in 2020, the ITTF moved up to sixth place overall this year. It is the fifth most attractive property on Facebook, ahead of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) and the International Swimming Federation (FINA) which are seventh and eighth respectively.
The ITTF climbed two spots to eighth place for Instagram and its position remained unchanged at sixth place for Twitter. He was ranked ninth for YouTube where he produced 1.3k videos in 2020 while WTT, with 3.2 million fans on his main Weibo account, took fourth place after FIFA, the International Basketball Federation. (FIBA) and the World Badminton Federation (BWF).
