Liverpool have had initial talks with German international Jurgen Klopp, although such a deal is unlikely to come cheap.
Liverpool bid farewell to one of their most trusted artists this week. Georginio Wijnaldum’s free agent exit from PSG confirmed after Barcelona were blown out of the water by the Parisian club’s offer. Wijnaldum has promised to reveal the secrets of his departure, but above all, he will leave a gaping void in the midfield of the Reds.

Liverpool already have seven first-team midfielders on the books. One school of thought is that young Curtis Jones could bridge the gap and avoid having to sanction a major purchase.
However, the last of Sport 1 journalist Florian Plettenburg suggested that Liverpool consider making a transfer instead.
He tweeted that there had been “talks over the past few days” over a proposal Florian Neuhaus transfer.
The 24-year-old Borussia Mönchengladbach midfielder was linked to Liverpool in May. An earlier report even went so far as to suggest that he was ‘incline towards a change’.
And according to Plettenburg, Neuhaus is the player “Klopp wants” to replace Wijnaldum.
Adding more fuel to the fire, Plettenburg highlights Neuhaus’s comments last week regarding a move overseas.
“I can very well imagine a move abroad,” said the Germany International.
Liverpool’s interest in all potential suitors is considered the most “concrete”. However, it is unlikely that a resolution on its future will come before the end of the euro.
As to the type of fees Neuhaus would charge, a figure “over 40 million euros (34.3 million pounds sterling) are deemed necessary.
Contrary to what has been reported elsewhere, Plettenburg insists there is no release clause in his contract.
Leicester aim to overtake Liverpool and Arsenal
Meanwhile, Leicester are lining up Brighton’s Liverpool and Arsenal midfielder Yves Bissouma as a possible replacement for Wilfried Ndidi if he leaves this summer, according to reports.
Join the Renards de Genk in 2017, Ndidi has proven to be a perfect replacement for N’Golo Kante since the Frenchman’s move to Chelsea and has rightly attracted a number of potential suitors.
As a result, Brendan Rodgers identified Bissouma as a top transfer target if he were to leave the club, according to GFFN.
Liverpool are believed to have spotted the Brighton man, but have yet to make any official offers.
