Team Lions 2021: When is the announcement?

After months of guesswork, Warren Gatland will announce that his Lions team will face South Africa for the 2021 edition of the Lions tour in a few days.

It is expected that there will be a strong Scottish contingent this time around after an impressive Six Nations campaign and two of the Scottish coaches being included in the tour staff. England players are however in the opposite position after a bad tournament at the wrong time.

Partly due to the difficulties of traveling during a pandemic, Gatland is expected to appoint a team of 36 men. The Lions took 41 to New Zealand four years ago.
