We are already on June 23. They say time flies when you’re having fun, but it also seems to fly when you’re not having fun, and the last ten or eleven days of COVID-19 that I’ve endured haven’t been fun. Admittedly, it’s not the worst thing (thanks to weaker strains and vaccines), but it’s still a drag and I’m sick of it.
Wordle provides a good distraction, of course. The viral puzzle word game continues to be hugely popular, although it’s down from its peak in popularity last February when everyone and their moms were playing the game.
Today’s word is a bit tricky, I have to warn you. We’ll take a look.
Today Wordle #369 Tip and Answer
You are approaching spoilers. Incoming spoilers. Red alert! Red alert! Spoilers! Spoilers! Spoilers!
First, a hint: Similar to “on the edge”.
And the answer is . . . .
I could see how this could be a difficult word depending on which letters you eliminate first. After all, if I hadn’t eliminated the ‘D’ with my first guess dream I could have guessed beverage later. I could very well have chosen to frisk instead of fast.
In the end, my first two guesses really eliminated a lot of possibilities, though, and my third set me up for success. My first guess reduced the total solutions from 2309 to 67, then grout increased that number to just 12. Fast left me with two choices: brick and edge and I guessed the correct one. Wordle Bot was mostly all compliments today.
It’s almost the weekend, boys and girls. Alleluia!
