Bianca Belair announced in the opening segment of WWE Raw that Rhea Ripley was not allowed to wrestle and that she would not be wrestling for the Raw Women’s Championship at the Money In The Bank pay-per-view.
It was then announced that a 5-way match on Raw would determine Ripley’s replacement at the pay-per-view. The match featured Asuka vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Liv Morgan vs. Carmella vs. Becky Lynch. Carmella won the title match against Belair.
Ripley had to get braces after a tough situation in a Fatal Four-Way match on the 6/6 edition of Raw. Ripley has not wrestled since that show.
