Smugglers dropped two Ecuadorian sisters, aged three and five, over a 14-foot border fence in the New Mexico desert.
The horrific incident, which was filmed on video, was condemned as “appalling and vicious” by border control officials.
Footage shows smugglers straddling the fence and lifting toddlers over the fence, dropping them several feet off the ground, before running away without even bothering to check the children for injuries by the fall.
The operation was monitored by border officials from a control center who rescued the toddlers.
Miraculously, the children, who were taken to the hospital for evaluation, were not injured.
El Paso Sector Chief Patrol Officer Gloria Chavez, who posted the footage, condemned the smugglers.
“I am appalled at how these smugglers viciously dumped innocent children from a 14 foot border fence last night.
