TVS scooter sales alone increased 206 percent, while motorcycle sales increased 136 percent! Exports of two-wheelers hit the 1,000,000 mark in March.

TVS Motor Company Reports Strong Sales Figures in Domestic and Export Markets

TVS Motor Company recorded sales of 3,222,683 units in March 2021, registering a whopping 123% growth compared to 1,44,739 units in March 2020. Total sales of two-wheelers increased by an impressive 130% growth in March 2021, with sales of 3,07,437 units, compared to 1,33,988 units in March 2020. National sales of two-wheelers represented 2,02,155 units, an increase of 115% compared to 94,103 units in March 2020. Motorcycle sales increased 136% to 157,294 units units in March 2021 versus 66,673 units in March 2020. Company scooter sales increased 206% to 104,513 units in March 2021 versus 34,191 units in March 2020.

TVS Motor Company’s scooter sales increase over 200% in March 2021

TVS also reported the best exports ever in a single month in March 2021. Total exports increased 138%, registering 119,422 units in March 2021, compared to 50,197 units recorded in March 2020. Exports of two- wheels increased 164%. cent registering 105,282 units in March 2021 compared to 39,885 units in March 2020. An increase in sales of motorcycles in major international markets largely contributed to this achievement, the company said in a statement. TVS is India’s second-largest exporter of two-wheelers.

TVS also reported the highest monthly exports in history, over 1,000,000 units in March 2021.

Overall sales of two-wheelers in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2020-2021 increased by more than 50%


TVS Motor Company’s three-wheeler sales increased 42% in March 2021, recording sales of 15,246 units, compared to 10,751 units in March 2020. In the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2020-2021, sales of two wheels increased by 50%. from 5.90 Lakh units recorded in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2019-20 to 8.87 Lakh units in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2020-21.
