United Arab Emirates-Pakistan flights: PIA announces a rate of 100 Dh for certain routes departing from Ras Al Khaimah

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced special air fares to and from Ras Al Khaimah to major cities in Pakistan, starting at 100 Dh.

Speaking to Twitter, Pakistan’s national carrier said passengers from Ras Al Khaimah can book flights to Islamabad and Peshawar for as little as Dh100.

Passengers will also be allowed to carry 30 kg of free baggage allowance on these routes.

PIA became Pakistan’s first airline to launch flight operations to and from the northern emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, he said.

Currently, Sharjah-based Air Arabia operates from Ras Al Khaimah to various Pakistani cities.

All passengers traveling to Pakistan must provide contact details through Pass Track mobile app or web portal and negative PCR test result performed within 72 hours.

In addition, Islamabad has only allowed foreign passengers who have been vaccinated to enter the country from October 1, 2021. Passengers under the age of 18 may be allowed to travel to Pakistan without a vaccination certificate, while passengers over the age of 15 to 18 years old will be allowed to travel to the country. countries without vaccination certificate until October 31.

On August 28, PIA stepped up flights to the United Arab Emirates, connecting Ras Al Khaimah to the four major cities of the South Asian country – Islamabad, Peshawar, Lahore and Karachi.

PIA increased its capacity after the United Arab Emirates allowed residents of Pakistan to return under certain conditions, including the prior approval of the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, a negative PCR test with a validity of 48 hours and a rapid PCR test six hours before flight departure.

PIA already operates flights from all major Pakistani cities to various UAE emirates including Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi.
