PHILADELPHIA (UKTN) – The University of Pennsylvania has been named one of the top graduate schools in the United States. The US News & World Report released the 2022 Top Colleges Report on Tuesday.
The rankings evaluated programs in a number of specialties including business, education, engineering, law, medicine, and nursing for students interested in continuing their education beyond college.

“Trying to decide where to go to graduate school can be overwhelming under normal circumstances, let alone during a pandemic,” said Anita Narayan, education editor at US News. “In addition to our articles with expert advice on the admissions process, the ranking of the best graduate schools provides useful data to make this research more manageable for potential students.”

The University of Pennsylvania has been ranked in the top 20 in many areas, including tied for # 1 in education, # 3 in nursing and English, # 6 in law, at # 9 in social sciences and doctorate in humanities and medicine, and No. 18 for engineering.
Among the criminology and criminal justice programs. Penn State University was fifth, Temple University 14th, and the University of Delaware tied for 18th.
