Five people were injured after a car pulled off the road and crashed into a barber shop window.
The driver appears to have lost control on Hoe Street in Walthamstow, north London, and smashed the front window of Prestige Barbers.
The vehicle then drove through the corner store and smashed another window before stopping on Second Avenue.
Five people were treated by paramedics for non-life threatening and life changing injuries. The Telegraph also understands that the 65-year-old driver has not been arrested and is also receiving treatment.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at 1:47 pm Thursday to report a collision involving a vehicle and multiple pedestrians at Hoe Street, E17.
Officers, along with colleagues from the London Ambulance Service and Air Ambulance Service, attended the scene and immediately provided first aid to the 65-year-old driver and others at the scene. .
“Not all injuries are considered life threatening.
“A number of road closures are in place.
