WhatsApp Beta for macOS is here, brings all the features available in the iOS app

Intel Macs using Mac Catalyst also support the native app.

According to a report from WABetaInfo, the beta version of WhatsApp’s native app for macOS has been launched for M1 Macs, Macs running macOS 11 Big Sur or later, and some other Intel Macs running Mac Catalyst. The app can be downloaded from the official website in dmg format. While WhatsApp for macOS is rolling out to a wider audience after a limited early beta, it is still in beta and therefore some features may not work properly.

The report shared that users who want to get their hands on WhatsApp native beta for macOS can simply link the account on their Android or iPhones by scanning the QR code on their Macbook.
