In an update to the previous story on Daniel Bryan’s deal expiring, Dave Meltzer noted on the Wrestling Observer website that Bryan’s deal expired on Friday, but WWE is doing everything possible for him to sign a new agreement.

Again, just because his deal has expired doesn’t mean he’ll be signing with another company.
